A compact, clump-forming annual/biennial with large flowers which are  oblong-shaped, dark green, downy foliage. Upright spikes of pink-purple, trumpet-shaped flowers with spotted throats appear in June and July

Foxgloves look fantastic in the middle to back of ornamental borders, where their tall flowering spires lift the eye to the furthest reaches of the garden.

They  are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other insects.

Position: Foxgloves thrives in full sun or partial shade and moist drained  soil

Flowering:     June to July

Height: 60 cm (24″)

Spread:  40 cm (16″)

Attracts pollinators and is a good source of nectar and pollen for bees and butterflies.

Garden Designers recommend planting perennials in groups of 3 or 5 for a more natural balanced, and visually impactful look. It helps the plants stand out together and creates a lovely flow in your garden. But don’t worry – this plant also looks great on its own or in small groupings

All our plants can be planted all year round providing the ground is not water logged or frozen at the time of planting

Water well before planting and until well established

Herbaceous perennials die back below ground level each autumn, then fresh new growth will appear in the warmer months
