Penstemon ‘Garnet’

Description

Penstemon ‘Garnet’ is an elegant penstemon, bearing slender flowers in wine-red, from July to October, against fresh green leaves.  Penstemons, are perfect for growing in any mixed herbaceous border or in pot on the patio, and its blooms are a magnet for bumblebees.

Grow Penstemon ‘Garnet’ in full sun to partial shade, in moist but well-drained soil.  Deadhead spent blooms to prolong flowering

Attracts pollinators and is a good source of nectar and pollen for bees and butterflies.
