these are great evergreen succulents form dense rosettes of foliage which melt together to create a living carpet. Sempervivum come in a fabulous range of colours, with some even covered in spidery webbing. In summer, mature rosettes may produce panicles of star-shaped flowers. Although individual rosettes die after flowering, they are swiftly replaced by small offsets which quickly fill the gap.
